This past week we saw on television attacks against America, democracy and the free market by terrorist. They took innocent hostages and crashed the hijacked planes into both of the WTC Towers as well as the Pentagon. It is believed that the forth plane was intended to target the President of the United States. This was a cowardly act regardless of the cause.

Except for the Pentagon these were not military targets. The WTC has nothing to do with the military. They dare to call it a holy war. These are not men that would conduct such attacks against women and children.

Yet I am not only going to condemn the terrorist here. There are many in America and elsewhere that has begun indiscriminately attacking Muslims. One 'man' was heard to say that he was protecting the US when he was attacking a Muslim woman. These individuals are hardly better than the terrorist. They would attack innocents just because they want to strike back at the terrorist.

Muslims are not the problem. Much of the Islamic teachings are the same as Judeo/Christian thought. Mohammed spoke of the three groups as People of the Book. There are radicals of Islam the same as there are radicals of Judeo/Christian churches that would kill others in terrorist acts.

The terrorists too think that they have a cause, striking back at America for offences imagined.

All of this boils down to hate and having to have someone to blame for one's troubles. These people that would commit terrorism are mice not men. Their goal is simply death and terror.

Such actions of terrorism must be dealt with harshly. These extremists have no sense of justice or compassion that could be reasoned with. They are no more than serial killers that must be stopped.
