Race in Politics

The race issue is being used in such a manner in politics that divides people rather than units. There is no wonder that there is increasing racial tension. Are we not all children of the same God? There is nothing that should separate us. Color and culture are just different flavors of the same delicious ice cream.
What has happened to the idea that we are all equal under the law? Forget screaming race being the cause of injustice. Race has nothing to do with it in reality. The truth of "racism" is little minds that must blame others for all of their problems. It there were no racial differences people would always find something else. Look out in the world where there are societies of homologous racial make. They still have problem, but they are blaming their problems on people of another religion, or social class, etc.
Legal equality is the only real answer. Everyone should be treated equally under the law regardless of race, religion, financial status, or political office. No group or person should have any privilege denied to another.
